Vinny Cerrato Resigns as Redskins Executive Vice-President

To understand Cerrato's bizarre role in DC, one would have to understand the bond between them and Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, something I'm not sure anyone has been Able to do. The two were friends, we know that, but how did the obviously-in-over-his-head Cerrato maintain his job status with an owner known for his fondness for making sweeping personnel moves at the drop of a pass? There were always jokes that Vinny had "something" is Danny, but that was probably closer to the truth than we realized. Not in a "I'm holding this over your head" way, but in a "look what I can provide" way.
Cerrato's presence allowed Snyder Thurs still pull the strings, all while providing a front and a lightning rod for criticism. Who else could do that? Cerrato Snyder gave all the appearances of a GM, while providing all the benefits of a yes man.
Unlike other Infamous owners like Jerry Jones and George Steinbrenner, Snyder largely stays out of the Limelight, declining interviews and not parading around on the side lines. Thus, for a while, most of the criticism of the team's personnel moves Went to Cerrato even though he was, at most, a partner in these decisions with Snyder, not the guy who pulled the trigger. They could not sneeze without Snyder's approval it seemed.Read Morehttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Vinny-Cerrato-resigns-as-Redskins-executive-vice?urn=nfl,209483

King Of An Alternate World

Talking to James Cameron is daunting. They speaks with quick, Coherent, unhesitating precision, as if he has a brain with a faster hard drive than the rest of us. So it takes a while to get up the nerve to activate him about the YouTube video of Adolf Hitler trashing Avatar. A scene ripped from the much-spoofed 2004 film Downfall shows the Führer in his bunker during the last days of the Third Reich. The German dialogue is subtitled to turn Hitler into a James Cameron fan who's crushed that the Avatar trailer sucks. "I wait for 10 years af-king with cats Captain Planet!" They Screams. "Cameron has spent too much time underwater. They should have left the remake of FernGully: The Last Rainforest Thurs Lucas. "Read Morehttp://www2.macleans.ca/2009/12/17/king-of-an-alternate-world/

LAURA ZYCH

The "Miracle on the Hudson," led to another miracle, as two passengers fell in love!

The "Miracle on the Hudson" was the frightening plane landing on January 15, 2009. A commercial flight, U.S. Airways Flight 1549, hit a flock of geese upon takeoff. With the engines useless, Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger successfully landed the plane in the Hudson River.

Two passengers from that fateful flight, although taken away is a different rescue boats, met at the 60 Minutes reunion for all of the passengers. Ben Bostic had in fact noticed the pretty Laura Zych before they boarded the original flight, but had not spoken to her until the reunion.

They hung out in July at another passengers' home in July, and ended up talking until 6AM! Bostic had left earlier for another event, but for decided to come back to see Zych. "I had to work the next day. And I did not care! At that time, that's exactly what I wanted to do. "

It is sleeping over, Bostic said simply, "I did not think of it until the next day, but it was the second time I crashed." They have been together ever since!

Like the other survivors, the two try to celebrate life as much as possible. They have developed the routine of dancing to their favorite music every night before they go to sleep. "We do that as part of our decompressing and loving life," said Zych. "Just so that your day ends on a good note."Read Morehttp://weeklyworldnews.com/headlines/14448/laura-zych/
