Ernie Els Brands Tiger Woods Selfish Over Media Timing

"It's Selfish. This takes a lot away from the tournament," Els told the American magazine Golf Week.

"I feel sorry for the sponsor. Mondays are a good day to make statements, not Friday."

The sponsor in question, Accenture, was one of a number of companies that dropped Woods when the revelations about his private life broke in the media - triggered by a traffic accident outside Woods' Florida home is 27 November.

World number one Woods, who has two young children with his 34-year-old Swedish wife Elin Nordgren, Thurs admitted having extra-marital affairs but has not spoken in public since the crash.

But on Wednesday his agent, Mark Steinberg, announced that the 14-time major winner would address a select gathering of journalists at the Club House Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra, Florida, to "discuss his past and his future".

Bomb kills 29 in Pakistan as US Envoy Visits

The Bomb Explosion tore through a mosque in the Aka Khel area of Khyber, killing at least 29 people and wounding some 50 others, local official Jawed Khan said. Earlier reports had said the blast occurred in the Orakzai area at a cattle market. 

The two areas border one another, and the market is apparently near the mosque. 

Officials were still investigating Whether the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber or a planted device. 

No group claimed responsibility, but Khan said the dead included militants from Lashkar-e-Islam, an insurgent group in Khyber that has clashed with another Militant outfit known as Ansarul Islam. Both espouse Taliban-style ideologies. 

Earlier this week, officials confirmed that a joint CIA-Pakistani security operation had captured the No.. 2 Afghan Taliban commander, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi. 

On Thursday, an Afghan official told The Associated Press that around the same time - some two weeks ago - two Taliban leaders from northern Afghanistan were also arrested in Pakistan by Pakistani authorities. Also, officials said up to nine al-Qaida-linked militants were arrested in a series of raids overnight on Wednesday in Karachi. 

The U.S. and Pakistan have said very little on the record about the arrests, but they could signal a shift in Pakistani policy. Pakistan has long frustrated the Americans by denying either that the Afghan Taliban use its soil or doing little to root them out.

American Idol's Top 24 For Season 9

Casey will be the rocker for the guys this year but I think they will have to step it up to gain the popularity of Chris Daughtry During his run on the show in season five.

Early is in the American Idol Auditions, I wrote down Jermaine Sellers "Because I loved his voice. They Reminds me of a younger Stevie Wonder. I look forward to seeing him perform songs in the different themes will choose the American Idol this year. He is one guy who could stand up to my favorite girls this year.

Lew Dewyze, for me is a cross between Danny Gokey and Chris Daughtry. I liked him at his first audition, but I was not sure about him on the Hollywood Auditions. He is another contestant I will have to see more of before deciding one way or the other.

I do not remember, Tim Urban, Tyler Grady, Todrick Hall, Joe Munoz, John Park or from their original audition, or during Hollywood week. Shaun White Double McTwist 1260 Video

The Double McTwist 1260 had it's debut in Park City, Utah last month. Since then, it's been the spectacle of each and every interview that has been given the Snowboarder. The athlete has even dubbed this move the "Tomahawk."

During White's first run, he did not land the trick. They did not need to and they wanted to take pressure off his teammates. His score during that run was enough to place him at the top.

During his second one, however, Shaun knew that his fans were waiting for that Double McTwist 1260, and they knew they had better land it.

The American Snowboarder put on a spectacular 30 second show. This is why many people love the sport of snowboarding.
