Thanksgiving Prompts And Activities

Thanksgiving week and you want to give your students or kids something festive to do.  Here are a few Thansgiving-geared activities for the kids!
These writing prompts can produce some very thoughtful essays.  For younger students, see below the writing prompts or go here for coloring activities and crosswords.
K-2
Children this age respond well to story-telling.  Help them by starting a story and have them finish it.  For example: "Aunt Judy was putting a hot pumpkin pie on the counter to cool when all of a sudden..."  Let them finish the story and see where they take you!
Another idea, have them draw the word "THANKFUL" vertically on a piece of paper.  Write something you are thankful for starting with each letter.Read Morehttp://www.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474977913928&grpId=3659174697244816&nav=Groupspac
