Gibbs Calls Massa Charges 'Crazy' »
For a Quick refresher, the Retiring Rep.. Massa is leaving office under allegations he sexually harassed a male staffer. But first Massa said he was quitting "Because of cancer," Because then there was an ethics probe, and most recently "Because Democrats were forcing him out so they could dump a no vote on health reform.
"I think this whole story is ridiculous. I think the latest excuse is silly and ridiculous, "Gibbs said is" Good Morning America, "before recounting the evolving string of excuses.
"I think clearly what his actions appear to be in the appropriate venue in the ethics committee," said Gibbs, before steering his remarks back to the talking points - with a shot at Withering thrown in mass.
"We're focused not on crazy allegations but instead is making this system work for the American people rather than work for insurance companies," Gibbs said.
