Pakistan Wants Result-Oriented Dialogue With India: FM

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Saturday that Pakistan has suggested a roadmap for structured dialogue with India stressing that the interaction should be meaningful and result-oriented. While addressing a press conference at the local airport, they said that India was facing some internal problems is the issue of resumption of dialogue adding there were some elements Opposing it is the pretext of the incident in Mumbai while the rest supported and considered it in favor of their country. 
They said that Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had delivered a detailed statement in October Sabha in Which they Elaborated why talks with Pakistan were important. 
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan was committed to the Trial of Accused in Mumbai. They added that government had done the Needful, the legal process was in progress and case would be for decided by the courts of Which are independent. 
They said that one can not remain stuck in one issue adding that this situation was untenable. While India was concerned about one incident in Mumbai, Pakistan had faced many-like incidents in Mumbai recently that not only killed innocent people but also affected the economy badly. 
They said that Pakistan has conveyed to India clearly what it wanted that result-oriented and purposeful dialogue and was not interested in a mere photo opportunity. Pakistan was not in hurry and could wait for meaningful dialogue process, he added. 
To a question on water issue, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan prefers bilateral engagement to resolve water dispute with India and added that the option of international arbitration would be availed only if the bilateral engagement failed to deliver. 
He said that under the agreement India could not stop Pakistan's share of water. 
He said the Pakistan foreign secretary visited India on an invitation by the neighboring country and Pakistan presented its point of view on all issues including Kashmir and water. Issue of terrorism was also discussed in the first formal interaction on the Mumbai incident, the FM said and added that cooperation between the two countries was black To Defeat Terrorism. 
To a question regarding reports that India demanded handover of Hafiz Saeed, in the recent secretary level talks, they said that they did not mention Hafiz Saeed and termed it as mere assumption.
