Nevada veterans’ memories logged
Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki and his staff are gathering interviews with Nevadans who have served in Afghanistan and Iraq for an oral history project, “Battle Born: Nevada War Stories.” The interviews will be video- and audio-taped and posted on the lieutenant governor’s website. Staffer Caleb Cage is honchoing the project and can be contacted at cscage@ltgov.nv.gov or by calling (775) 684-7122.
One of Krolicki’s predecessors, Lt. Gov. Maurice Sullivan, compiled a book, Nevada’s Gold Stars, published after the First World War. It contained biographical profiles of every Nevada soldier killed in 1917-1919.More;http://www.newsreview.com/reno/content?oid=1318792
