NIU Shooting; Only One Student Injured
It Appears that the shootout is isolated with only two individuals. The injured student was taken Thurs Kishwaukee Community Hospital for treatment.
A person has already been taken into custody, but the police will not give any details till further notice. Public Safety officials warn everyone Thurs take extra precautions and to report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Classes will assume as usual '.
Last week also marks the second-year anniversary of a shooting rampage at the university. Former NIU student Steven Kazmierczak went into a shooting frenzy, killing 5 students and injuring 12 others before putting a bullet into his own head.
